At Puzzling Patterns, we conduct comprehensive assessments before the onset of treatment to gain a thorough understanding of each client’s needs and abilities. Assessments are tailored to the specific concerns and goals of each individual, covering areas such as communication, social skills, behavior management, academic skills, and daily living skills. We utilize a variety of assessment tools, including both indirect assessments such as interviews and surveys, and direct assessments involving observations and standardized testing, to gather relevant information and develop a holistic understanding of the individual’s strengths and areas for growth.
Our treatment approach is grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a scientifically validated methodology that focuses on understanding and changing behavior in meaningful ways. Following the assessment process, we work closely with families and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans that address the identified needs and goals. Each treatment plan is developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and implemented by our team of skilled Behavior Technicians. Under the supervision of the BCBA, our Behavior Technicians work closely with each client to implement tailored interventions and strategies. The BCBA provides ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), modifying the program as needed based on data and individual progress
